Q. When are practices and/or games?

A. There are two practice days a week. The days/times are up to the coaches. The registration form ask about unavailable days. Check off the days that do not work for you and we will do our best to match your child with a coach that fits your schedule.

Our clinic program (3 and 4 years olds) do not have weekly games. During our spring season the clinic group will have one day of games during our Soccer Day.

Division I (5 and 6 years old) have weekly games on Sunday at 1:00pm

Division II (7 and 8 years old) and Division III (9 to 12 years old) have weekly games on Sunday at 1:00pm or 2:30pm

Q. Where are pratices/games held?

A. All pratices and games are held at the Little Egg Harbor Sport Complex. The complex is located off of 539, right across the street from Wawa.

Q. What should my child have for practices/games?

A. All players should have the following:
* Age appropriate soccer ball with their name written on it
* Water/Sport drink bottle with their name written on it
* Cleats or sneakers
* Shin guards
* PSA issued jerseys are to be worn during all games.
- Your coach should inform you what color you should wear but PSA strongly recommends you to bring both jerseys
* Weather appropriate clothing
- Players are not allow to wear anything with a hood on it
- Players are not allow to wear jeans

Q. What size soccer ball is an age appropriate for my child?

A. Clinic (ages 3 and 4) - Size 3
Divison I (ages 5 and 6) - Size 3
Divison II (ages 7 and 8) - Size 4
Divison III (ages 9 to 12) - Size 4

Practice / Game Preparation

Shin guards: Shin guards are mandatory during all scrimmages and games. Players will not be permitted to participate without shin guards and will be checked by the referees before each game. Shin guards must be worn on the inside of the socks.

Shoes: Sneakers or sport shoes. Baseball cleats are allowed, but the front cleat must be removed. Metal cleats are not allowed.

Pants/Shorts: Wind pants, sweat pants or shorts are suggested. Jeans are not allowed.

Kids should try to bring their own ball to practice.

Parent Drink/Snack Schedule: Parents should volunteer for the snack schedule. The parent snack schedule should be distributed before the first game to rotate the game drinks and snacks. Please bring healthy drinks (no soda) and snacks (e.g. fruit, vegetables, fruit snacks, crackers, cookies etc).

Other Useful Notes:

  • Bring water or other hydrating drinks for ALL games and ALL practices.
  • Earrings and jewelry should be removed for games and practices.
  • Hoodies, long zippers, exposed snaps or other clothing that can be hooked or caught should be avoided.
  • Dress the player appropriately for very cold or hot weather.
  • Long hair should be pulled up to avoid accidental pulling.
